Lubiri High School Buloba Campus Holds Mid-Term Strategic Plan Review Retreat

From 12th June to 13th June 2026, Lubiri High School Buloba Campus Board of Governors held a two-day Mid-Term Review Retreat for the school’s Five-Year Strategic Plan (2024–2028) at Friendz Hotel, Bukuma Luwero.

The discussions centered on the four Strategic Objectives (SOs) that guide the school’s development:

1. Improving the Teaching and Learning Process – enhancing academic performance, instructional methods, and learner outcomes.

2. Improving School Visibility – strengthening the school’s image, reputation, and stakeholder engagement within and beyond the community.

3. Widening the School Financial Resource Base and Facilities – increasing revenue streams and expanding infrastructure to support the growing student population.

4. Strengthening Leadership and Management – promoting effective governance, accountability, and efficient management systems.

The Board noted significant achievements registered under these strategic objectives during the first half of the implementation period. Members also reviewed performance indicators and annual targets for each objective, ensuring that clear action plans are in place for the remaining two and a half years of the strategic plan.

Speaking during the retreat, Board members expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the school’s continued growth and excellence.

Dr Mayanja Christopher, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Ndejje University, was a guest facilitator of the retreat. He appreciated the commendable work done by the Board of Governors. They emphasized the importance of teamwork, innovation, and effective resource management in achieving the institution’s vision, Mission and core values.

The retreat concluded with renewed determination to meet and exceed the set targets, positioning Lubiri High School Buloba Campus for greater success as it advances towards the completion of its 2024–2028 Strategic Plan.
