OUR HISTORY
Roots of Lubiri High Buloba Campus
The Government of Buganda Kingdom has a long-standing commitment to providing social services, including health, education, and moral guidance, to its people. In the late 1990s, the Ministry of Education in Buganda conceived the idea of establishing a model secondary school to deliver quality education with a focus on morals and practical skills. This led to the opening of Lubiri High School – Mengo Campus.
To further expand its educational investments across the kingdom, the Ministry of Education piloted the opening of Lubiri High School – Buloba Campus (LHSBC) in Busiro County as a branch of the Mengo Campus. The school officially opened on February 7, 2011, with 177 students, 14 teaching staff, and 11 non-teaching staff. It was licensed in 2015 as a Day and Boarding secondary school. Lubiri High School – Buloba Campus is located in Nabukalu Village, Lukwanga Parish, Wakiso Sub-county, 12 miles along the Mityana-Kampala road, 4 km off the main road.

I consider it a great privilege to welcome you to our website. I am grateful to His Royal Highness the Kabaka of Buganda His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II for this great idea of establishing this wonderful institution with a solo purpose of educating His people, the young generation. Lubiri High School Buloba Campus was established in 2011 and is a sister school to Lubiri High School Mengo Campus, both schools are governed by the Ministry of education Buganda Kingdom.
Lubiri High School Buloba Campus is guided by it vision, “To be a model school in academic performance, discipline and cultural education in Uganda”, we aim at providing a holistic education that is, producing academically sound, physically fit, socially balanced and God-fearing citizens while ensuring that we live by our values. Integrity, Respect, Fairness, Handwork, Fellowship and Responsibility
Stemming from the Board, teachers, parents to the learners, hard work and fairness have been very key driving factors that have brought the institution to greater levels. We have inculcated the value of respect for people and community into our staff and learners which has promoted a good rapport amongst our parents and the community around us.
The school has greatly embraced the new curriculum and has ensured that we put in place all the basic requirements needed in the teaching process. Our staff has equally been retooled in the New Curriculum and we are hopeful that the products of our school will be on great demand in the market World. We have also continued to conduct the old curriculum lessons effectively at Advanced Level.
We believe in building synergies as a way of ensuring our staff and learners’ holistic development and wellbeing. In so doing we have collaborated with Rotary club of Kampala Central, neighboring primary schools, Secondary Schools, neighboring Churches and local leadership.
